i love the writing, but the jokes weren't funny, and i will admit the end was a little abrupt despite it being part of the joke. i mean the fact the time machine appeared and they were sitting there for 14 seconds felt too short. Also at the end the scientist character didnt have the smiley face drawn on his brain helmet, it would of been nice to see him wipe it clean as they teleported back or something. the jokes being jump cuts is mainly what i didnt like. so many cuts and it didn't treat the project nicely. I would relate this more to a family guy skit than anything else. like i said i like the writing but the pacing was decent, again the jump cuts ruined it for me. since this is an animatic/storyboard i cant say much for the animation. but my least favorite was the voices, i would suggest getting other talent to do some of the characters, im not a fan of the pitching of your own voice for other characters.

Hey thanks for your thoughts yeah it's def not for everyone. I wanted it be very snappy and quick paced which can always be hit or miss.

He didn't have a smile because if they went back in time, he never met them

I really like your show, I think that uncut may not be the best for newgrounds movie podcasts, if you want to edit out the bleps and silences it'll go a lot smoother. Your audio is great, but I think guests need to bump up the quality too, especially if you are interviewing them we have to hear their mic a whole lot. (One thing you can do is have the guest record on a program and they send you a mp3 or wav and you edit them together.) Also get pumped! Be loud you gotta bring the energy, I think the show will become an awesome showcase for artists. Maybe hire an editor? I'm not sure. Lets go radio G!

GENC responds:

Thank you so much for the input! I'll definitely keep a bunch of this stuff in mind going forward!

very cool i dont think i get it and the meme audio in the wedding was really loud, good job though

Quonit responds:

The youtube version has subtitles which make it more clear 😅 Sorry about that!

I think your timing needs work, but that's only because i don't hear any voices filling in some of the empty spaces, so i could be wrong there. Even though this is just an animatic, i'm interested to see what more you have to share of this original story and characters.

AlanBritoAN responds:

yeeeh, is just a little work what i did ni the past whit characters of my friend and mine, but i publish this because i dont get voices, and the school get all of my time ☠.

and thanks so much, I appreciate the advice ❤❤❤

You said everything drawn by you, i think you meant done. I feel like you tried making the dance a bit too realistic as she doesn't glide around like most characters do for this trend, and she started a bit late. Nice job but you can make it a bit longer and fix the timing on your next work.

Skeith990 responds:

Thank you for the critique.

Honestly my reference were 2d animation I found since I didn't know the names of the dance sequences.

First bit, I have drawn the asset, but if you can elaberate since I fail to understand the difference.

I'll try to be more careful with the timing.

This is the type of video you must watch twice. You do such a great job at making your characters and shots, (which essentially make the world you are portraying) very human.

There are so many details I loved! When you show a shot being captured on video you took a lot of real life situations into account when making these scenes. Some of my favorites were the one at 00:53 where the car headlights can be seen in the distance emerging onto the road, or 02:10 the car windshield wipers sliding across the windshield making streaks, and 02:24 where the bird flies off the roof but the camera follows it a bit before losing track just as a real person would attempt to do. I can go on but I think you understand this the most as you made the movie.

You are an excellent creator making this believable world in a short amount of time, I know backgrounds aren't always easy. I do think the walk cycle at 00:27 is floaty so just watch out for that. I enjoyed seeing the film on the t.v. at the end, there is just so much packed into here. Excellent work.

SAMI-OURS responds:

My gosh! I didn't know you paid so much attention to all the elements of the video. right! In addition to the elements you mentioned, the implementation of various other details was also for the naturalness of the video. Thanks for recognizing these aspects. And, You also talked about the cons! It is difficult for any scene to walk with the whole body out, and you noticed the unnaturalness of that scene. I thought wouldn't notice it because it was so short. But I just caught by your detailed appreciation! Still, I'm just glad Thanks for savoring my video.

I'm a bit confused, what exactly did you do? You said thanks to Neco Puppeteers for the animation, you used Pepsi man ads in the tv, and you didn't make the lo-fi minecraft beats, so you pretty much edited it together? I think its fine to use sprites from games if you are making something original with them. This doesn't seem original or new. I hope you make something worth watching in the future!

darkbolt99 responds:

hellothis animation is an experimental video
and I made it by myself taking concepts from NecoPuppeteers and Melty Blood
I will try to improve in the future.

i love the intro, but since its a comic dub its a bit underwhelming. the characters are fun and it was short and sweet.

usernameMike responds:

Thanks for the input! I'm trying out some new stuff, so I started with something simple. Glad you enjoyed it regardless!

Wow Dr. Goods operating theater was awesome. i thought a lot of the submissions were good but i loved each intermission with Dr Good, because I thought he was a very funny well written character. Great voice acting by Gianni as well. i am also glad to see some familiar animators. like MattyBurrito in this collab. My two favorite submissions were Dr. Bad and Monster in my bathtub, i loved those! Nicely done everyone.

DannyGoodShirt responds:

Thanks for watching! Happy you liked the Dr Good character. He is fun to write & Gianni is a pro

really good animation, especially the smoke and teleports, but why didn't you finish it? this is for your commissions so you should show what you can do including colors. hopefully more finished anims to come?

MaksMiks responds:

Video is a prewiev its still being coloring and ended soon
