[Michaelsoft Binbows '97]

BINDOWS XP????
I wanna start the review off by saying if you're reading this before getting all medals there will be spoilers.

I love the jokes you put into this game, mine sweeper being a game where you literally sweep with mines, a michaelsoft "office" which is just a camera showing a sketchy office building (which would be really cool if that lore was expanded on) and the tinfoil OS. The vibe is a old '97 pc and that's something you hit the nail on the head with here.

However, there was some things that took me out of that immersion. One being the full screen mode making the sprites somewhat upscaled rather than keeping the ratio, or the Incident Report dropping the mouse overlay, the program icons being moved but not locked to a grid on the desktop, not being able to change program names, not being able to move the windows at all, and small things that weren't included like no "Michaelsoft Baint" (Microsoft Paint) and no right click menu. One thing I like about this game is the mixed media, its usage of 3d models or rotoscoping dancing man with cat head, in contrast to the imagery seen in the other programs is enjoyable and fresh because I never know what to expect.

My favorite thing of all though was the Michaelsoft shop. If only buying the items actually did something to the game! Like a purchasable program or some sort of extension, a background customizer or something like that. Something that would of blown me away would be a functioning calendar with time and date, or a functioning michaelsoft sam-type program, stuff that obviously would not be easy to do. With what the game is it's a feat in terms of simulating.

If you do plan on making a Bindows XP, I hope you are encouraged to make it bigger and better with a lot of fun stuff and secrets to seek out. I can be a beta tester if you'd like I'm a message away ^^ take care Ant. Amazing job!

its a very difficult game, but very polished! i can see the love and support you have gotten wasnt for nothing. great job to everyone on the team, you guys did a great job here

i love it, great outfits and nice background looping music. i like that you can change everything pretty much and that without eyes her design still kills it in any outfit. LOVED the ng shirt great touch, and because of this i will check out dead estate. i didnt know about the snapping with shift until i read the description so thanks -w-

i love it, great job pixelizing the main songs from the game, and i love how roses sounds since it was already 16 bit style. my favorites in this one were dad battle and ugh, the ugh in the song caught me off guard xD great stuff! (just thought the bg for dad battle was a bit confusing )

i loved it, the musics great and the concept is simple and you learn fast. nice level design but on level 4 if you go to close to the dip at the bottom the camera leaves you! that was surprising, but its very fun
